French Driveway

sold.

When I was in France we stayed in a chateau, which is French for uh, castle. Yep, I taught in a castle. It was at the tippy, top of a large hill in a small village called Chateau Neuf de Gadagne. This scene above was the house right next door, on an overcast day. And here is a photo from the room where we ate every day. Yep.

Carol,
Wow, you were staying in a beautiful part of France (though most parts there seem to be beautiful). You were very near one of the places that sticks out most in my mind from a trip there decades ago - L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: Did you get a chance to visit that little village with the canals and bridges? I imagine you will be painting your memories of this trip for quite a while.
